WALMART
Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, is quite committed to sustainability.
Two of Walmart’s company-wide environmental goals are to be supplied
100% by renewable energy and to create zero waste.

In February of 2006, Wal-Mart made a pledge to source all wild-caught fresh and frozen fish for the U.S. market from fisheries that meet the Marine Stewardship Council’s (MSC) independent environmental standard within the next three to five years. Although they don’t have their own line of organic foods, they do carry organic produce and other foods in their stores based on consumer demand. They are increasing efforts to buy local products whenever possible.
